In December 2019, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the AVC Charity Foundation presented an exhibition «Zdanevich: Here and Now» dedicated to Ilya Zdanevich, an artist, poet, publisher, art theorist, one of the first Russian avangardists. Curators of the exhibition: Mikhail Pogarsky, Vasily Vlasov. Architect: Alexey Podkidyshev. The project is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Ilya Zdanevich and the 70th anniversary of the publication of his collective edition «Poetry of Unknown Words». The performance «Maxim Without Passwords», shown at the opening of the exhibition, is a new project of the «Krugly Band». The production is based on the poem of the same name by Mikhail Pogarsky dedicated to Ilyazd, poetry by Alexander Bubnov. The poem reflects within his own reflection, thereby referring to the immense field of the avant-garde. Hence the echoes of texts by Ilyazd himself, as well as fragments from the works of other authors, to the work of which the poem of Mikhail refers. Such diverse material finds common notes with Alexey Kruglov’s author’s music painted by the playful form of the participants in the production.
